César Abanto Revilla


César Abanto Revilla (Lima, 1972), specializes in Labor Procedure and Social Security Law, representing court cases, answering legal inquiries and preparing reports for public and private entities.

He is a former Public Attorney for the Ministry of Labor and Employment and head of the agency’s general legal counsel. He participated in the official commission in charge of revising the new Labor Procedure Law. He also has extensive professional experience as a lawyer in the private sector.

César Abanto is an arbitrator for the national public health authority (Superintendencia Nacional de Salud) mediation and arbitration Center. He has taught training courses for judges at  the Judiciary and at the National Magistrate Academy. He is a professor of Labor Law in the master’s programs at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and Universidad de San Martín de Porres.

He is a member of the Peruvian Labor and Social Security Law Association (Sociedad Peruana de Derecho del Trabajo y la Seguridad Social) and a member of the advisorycCouncil for “Soluciones Laborales” and “Gaceta Constitucional” law journals.
